The Symposium is an opportunity for us to share and discuss related issues of common interest, present insights in relation to the Authenticity and Valorisation of Walled Towns and the better governance of Walled Cities.

Reconciling modern day requirements with conservation objectives; A constant dilemma for walled towns Short interventions by a select panel followed by discussion and comments from the symposium participants. 12:15 Lunch break 13.30 European Walled Towns General Meeting, Election of President, Vice-Presidents and Treasurer 18.30 Walk tour of Mdina 20.00 Conference Dinner in Rabat, following Mdina tour.

Saturday 15th September 2018

Full day cultural tour to Gozo Visiting Victoria, Citadella and other places of interest, During lunch the European Walled Town group will be meeting Dr. Samuel Azzopardi, Mayor of Victoria. Details of the Gozo tour will be given during the symposium.
